  • Woke up and drank chai with mum
  • Showered, washed my hair, but came out still freaked out over my hair
  • Ate poha. Yum.
  • Went to Bubbles to get my hair fixed (colored darker), and then also styled
  • Came home and ate idli-sambar-dosa
  • Watched “Zeitgeist: The Movie” on Netflix with Saanya
    • Okay, I honestly don’t have the energy right now to do an analysis of this film, so more on this later.
  • (I then wrote the blog post for yesterday) (Oops)
  • Have been mostly lazing around since. Watched a little more television. Help create a blog for Saanya. Not a particularly productive day, so I need to bring my A-game tomorrow and get some reading done.
  • Finally; I re-downloaded Tinder, thinking I could change the setting to Charlottesville (apparently you have to pay to do that, though). I’m not sure why, although I opened the app to a handful of new messages from weeks ago. I only responded to one, because this guy is really cute and lives on the Lawn. (We’d been talking before I left for break and then I deleted the app.) And we seem to have mutual friends. And also, he’s really cute.
  • On a somewhat related note, Lucas has pretty much full-on ghosted me. Of course, I usually wouldn’t mind someone not speaking to me for a couple of weeks – as an introverted person I have many of the same tendencies – but he has not responded to things that, in my opinion, very much warrant a response.
    • The last thing I texted him was during a late-night conversation. I confided to him about how I was confronting a possibly very scary, world-shaking change in life. He’d warned me that he was falling asleep, but he never responded the next day, or since. #rude?
    • In fact, this has rubbed me the very wrong way. Even if you are not romantically interested in someone, if a friend expresses distress to you it would be polite to give them some kind of assurance that you care/are with them/have sympathy. Nope. Nothing.
